Currently, Gyeongsangbuk-do is implementing a 2024 Regional Specialized Visa Program by the Ministry of Justice to address population decline and boost the local economy by attracting and settling outstanding foreign nationals.
Utilizing this program and other employment visas, the Ministry of Education, Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and Gyeongsangbuk-do are organizing the "Gyeongsangbuk-do Job Fair for International Students" as follows:
❍ Date and Time: Wednesday, August 28, 2024, 14:00 ~ 17:00
❍ Venue: Kyungil University Gymnasium (Gyeongsan, Gyeongbuk)
❍ Expected Participants: Approximately 400 attendees
Including recruiting companies, job seekers (international students), Gyeongbuk job support organizations, and regional universities
❍ Hosted/Organized by: Ministry of Education, Ministry of SMEs and Startups, Gyeongsangbuk-do / Kyungil University
❍ Format: Employment counseling booths and Regional Specialized Visa Program information

Explanation Session: Information for international students on employment and settlement in Korea
Detailed information on the local industry, living conditions, employment, and settlement in Gyeongsangbuk-do
Company Promotion: PR for companies seeking foreign talent
Companies that wish to recruit foreign employees will present their PR
Consultation Session: One-on-one employment counseling between companies and international students
Individual company booths for on-site recruitment interviews
Consulting: One-on-one tailored consulting for job matching
Separate consulting booths by Gyeongsangbuk-do job support organizations and K-Dream Foreign Support Center to provide support, related information, and follow-up management for international students facing employment challenges
